The project
HdK were briefed by Stopgap’s Communications Manager to create and deliver social media campaigns to generate awareness and engagement for three initiatives: Open Dialogo, a cultural exchange between Disabled and non-disabled artists; Future Leaders, a leadership development opportunity for Deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent mid-career arts professionals; and Creative Tank, a three-day inclusive movement intensive.
The process
As well as planning the campaigns, we wrote captions including visual asset descriptions and targeted hashtags, created still graphics and short form video content from Stopgap’s existing photography and footage, and scheduled posts for Instagram and Facebook using Meta Business Suite.

The outcomes
HdK’s work for Stopgap helped to:
- Generate interest in and sign ups for their Open Dialogo webinar
- Attract applications for their Future Leaders programme
- Increase awareness of the Creative Tank intensive
