HdK inherited Artis’s previous website which we helped adapt for a number of years, so this was an opportunity to design a bespoke new website for Artis from the ground up, using Artis’ new brand guidelines created by Brandpie.
HdK rebuilt the website to focus on raising awareness of their work and activities. We collaborated with Artis team to streamline and simplify the sitemap and user journeys, bringing user interface and experience to the next level.
HdK provided easy-to-update spaces for Artis to promote events, latest news and drive traffic to donating, enquiring and brochure downloads.
HdK included an extensive resource section, filled with downloadable content tagged by age and theme to help users quickly filter results and find the content they’re looking for. Before downloading resources, users are encouraged to leave their contact details – this functionality is integrated with Artis’s Mailchimp system, allowing the client to better communicate with their audience beyond the website.
When considering website functionality and user journeys, HdK made sure to include easy-to-use, customisable features to help Artis’s audience to support the charity. One of these features is an impact calculator, where users can plug in a donation amount and view exactly how their contributions will benefit Artis in the long run. Another feature is a support slider where users can view the number of children impacted by different monthly donation amounts. These interactive tools helped streamline information on the website while ensuring Artis was able to maintain full transparency about the impact of donations, emphasising that even small contributions have a large impact.
