The challenge
Designed in a pre-Covid world, their previous website wasn’t able to keep up with ticket demand. A project to transform the museum’s digital capacity brought about new commercial ambitions, particularly around digital events and films, their retail offer, and CRM improvements.
The new website aimed to build awareness of the museum for a wider audience, while driving both physical and digital engagement, growing support, and raising revenue.

The solution
We worked closely with the Garden Museum team to design a user-first website shaped around audience needs and how people explore the museum. This included refining the site structure and key journeys through collaborative workshops.
The site integrates with a new ticketing system and Shopify shop, pulling in event and ticket data automatically to reduce admin. Design and build decisions also focused on accessibility and sustainability, resulting in a lighter, lower-carbon website.

The results
The new website is intuitive, accessible, and sustainable, allowing the Garden Museum to expand its offerings and showcase what makes it distinctive. Its reimagined, audience-first structure enables the museum to reach and engage all types of new visitors.

A huge thank you for all your hard work designing and building our beautiful new site - and big thanks to Roz for making the process as stress-free as possible. Really pleased with what we’ve built and excited for this next stage for the museum.
