Introducing our new Digital Project Co-ordinator – Nick

Hello! My name’s Nick Hart and I’m the new Digital Project Co-ordinator at HdK. I’m here to help manage our projects while offering friendly, prompt support to our wonderful clients.

I used to be a horse for a living. No, seriously: I puppeteered Joey in the National Theatre’s West End production of War Horse for two years. Originally an actor and puppeteer, I studied Collaborative and Devised Theatre at the Central School of Speech and Drama. As such, I bring with me a great understanding of the performing arts sector.


So why digital marketing? Well, I’m also an experienced designer and front end web developer. Self-taught, I’ve been making websites for people doing great things in the arts for eight years, most recently under the name Talking Horse (yes, a tribute to Joey). I realised at drama school that I could help theatre companies and arts organisations develop their online presence, which is something I’m very passionate about. No matter how much work you put into making a show, if you can’t engage with your potential audiences, how will you get people to come and see it?

I’ve left the stables now while I focus on a career in digital marketing. And I’m so excited to get stuck in at HdK, who I’ve long admired. If you’d like to chat to me about what we could do for you, drop me an email.
