Christmas season is finally here, which means office parties, decorations, presents, time with family, food and more importantly a time for giving. Therefore, this year the HdK team have decided to celebrate our favourite time of year and raise some money for a great charity.
Save The Children UK is a charity that focuses on protecting children and giving them life-changing opportunities. Since being founded over 90 years ago, the charity has helped billions of children with education, health, nourishment and through campaigning and implementing new policies for their rights. Today to raise awareness and funds the charity is running a ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ campaign, which is where we come in as seen above!
When we found out about this it was a no brainer, not only do we get to dress up in comfy, slightly embarrassing Christmas attire; we also get to support a brilliant cause. Additionally, to raise some extra funds and, because we’re all about food in this office, the team put their chef hats on for a Christmas bake sale last Monday, the 11th of December.
